CODE OF CONDUCT

The Club

  • Introduce fun and creative programs for basic skills development in running, jumping, and throwing
  • Help develop a positive self-image
  • Improve fitness level
  • Encourage pro-social behaviour
  • Create opportunities to achieve excellence in the sport of Track and Field

Athletes

  • Practice the values of teamwork, pride, and dedication
  • Show good sportsmanship
  • Be regular and punctual for practice
  • Notify the coaches of any injury, illness, or any other special consideration
  • Respect the decisions made by club officials and coaches
  • Put maximum effort into each training session

Parents

  • Provide a loving and supportive environment and be a positive role model
  • Respect the decisions made by club officials and coaches
  • Support the club
  • Assist the coaches at training sessions and at the local competitions
  • Provide and promote a healthy lifestyle
  • Provide competitive opportunities to athletes at the appropriate levels
  • Encourage athletes to focus on competitions, goals, and expectations
