POLITICAL RALLY AT BEAR CREEK PARK

Picture
Today, Sunday October 14, 2018, there was a political rally at Bear Creek Park where Doug McCallum and his Safe Surrey Coalition team were in attendance to announce that if elected they would build a Bear Creek Park stadium and make the surrounding facility suitable for world class events. Jessie and Sue spoke to the Coalition about the need for an upgraded facility at Bear Creek Park, as did Joe Connelly of North Surrey Football. Sue committed that UAC would work with local government to plan for an upgraded Bear Creek Park, and stressed the need for a stadium in Surrey. We are glad to hear continued discussion around this topic.

5TH ANNUAL UAC TRACK & FIELD MEET

What a weekend! Under mostly dry skies, UAC hosted our own meet with outstanding success.  With over 500 athletes, this was our biggest event ever, and there were many great performances. Our athletes were shining, with a tremendous number of Personal Best performances. Congratulations to all, and special notice to our Master Discus throwers, Gurpreet and Ranjit!! Full results can be viewed by downloading the PDF to the right.

The UAC Board wants to thank all the members who came out and volunteered their time to make this meet an excellent opportunity for athletics.  Special thanks to individuals who historically support our club, even though they no longer have active athletes directly participating in the sport.
You are golden, and so appreciated.

Special honour and respect to the esteemed BCA Officials who guide us and ensure fair and safe competition for all. You are priceless.

We were fortunate to have Coaches Luca, Iuliana, Jessie, Sabrina, Dave, Mandeep  and Komi supporting our athletes, and officials Kevin, Emily, Natasha, and Sue working at the meet.
