ABOUT US

Universal Athletics Club was established in 2000 to provide athletes with training services in the sport of Athletics (Track and Field). We are based out of the North Delta Secondary School Track and Bear Creek Park Track Facility in Surrey BC.

Universal Athletics Club is registered under the BC Societies Act and BC Athletics. The club is a community oriented, voluntary, professionally coached, non-profit, competitive Athletics club for all.

GUIDING PRINCIPLES

  • Introduce fun and creative programs for basic skills development in running, jumping, and throwing
  • Help develop a positive self- image
  • Improve fitness level
  • Encourage pro-social behaviour
  • Create opportunities to achieve excellence in the sport of Track and Field

World Relays (Guangzhou, China) May 2025 - Jasneet Nijjar and Team Canada's Women's 4x400m Relay Worlds-Bound
Team Canada qualified for the final, placing 7th overall and booking their tickets to World Championships in Tokyo in September

Olympics (Paris, France) August 2024 - UAC and WSU Graduate Student-Athlete Jasneet Nijjar Olympics-Bound

Nijjar was among the athletes selected for the women's 4x400m relay to represent Team Canada
